JetCity Girl Defined

The lush natural beauty of the Emerald City has always inspired preservation, but the city's chic have long struggled with the stigma of going green. Bucking the granola-eating, socks-with-sandal-wearing stereotype, Seattle-based JetCity Girl proves that feminine fashion can still be earth friendly and urban chic.

A JetCity Girl is a chic, urban woman who cares about her impact on the planet. She reduces, reuses and recycles – she just does it in a pair of kitten heels. She is self-confident without being self-absorbed. She doesn't take herself too seriously, but takes environmental stewardship very seriously. To a JetCity Girl, going green is a personal commitment, not a political statement, and it doesn't come at the cost of a killer wardrobe.

Patti, a self-described Seattle girly-girl and single mom, brings a background in fine arts, product development, marketing and merchandising to her latest venture. A career spanning beauty, fashion and antiques and a passion for stewardship inspired her to start JetCity Girl. “Seattle girls care about our impact on the planet, but we still want to smell pretty and look good," she says. “We shouldn't have to choose. Now we don't."
