The founder and CEO of JetCity Girl, Patti Hair has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry. Working for such companies as Elizabeth Arden, Proctor and Gamble Professional, L’Oreal Hair Care, and locally, for Gene Juarez and Nordstrom. Patti brings a knowledge and passion to her products. A self professed girlie-girl and product snob she refuses to compromise on quality, fashion and environmental stewardship. “I have lived in Seattle most of my life and want to banish the stigma that you can’t look and smell pretty and still care about our environment,” Patti says.
Patti is an Alumnus of Cornish College of Fine Arts, majoring in fine arts and also holds a degree in Interior design from the Seattle College of Design. She is once again partnering with her Mother, Barbara Sims. Hair and Sims previously owned an operated a 4000 sq. ft. Antiques Store in the trendy SODO district of Seattle. Sims and Hair are bringing their passion for fashion, personal care products and anything vintage to their new venture, JetCity Girl.

The co-founder and President of JetCity Girl, Barbara Sims, has been working in textiles her entire adult life. From making matching outfits for her two daughters and their Barbies to running a seven figure wearable-art fabric jewelry company in the ‘80’s. Barbara has been an innovator in business and has always had a flair for fashion and design. “I have always loved the texture and artwork of fabric, that coupled with my love of vintage creates a perfect harmony and uniqueness to my hand bag designs” Says Barbara. Sims hand crafts and embellishes every bag she designs with an eye for detail. Her bags are playful and versatile, most being reversible, giving the purchaser essentially two bags for one!
Sims also has a strong sense of environmental stewardship, she writes a regular column in the West Seattle Herald called “Let’s Talk Going Green”. Giving tips and advice on going green the easy way.
